Rules

The organization team has the home right. By entering the site the participant / the visitor will agree the following rules:

• The general terms of the town of Mendig will be applied.

• It is imperative to follow the instructions of the security team.

• Entering the closed not used buildings is strictly prohibited.

• It is forbidden to carry, sale or show any Weapons as well as fake weapons or parts of weapons.

• Carrying as well as issuing of the symbols which fulfil the criminal offence continuance §86a StGB is forbidden. This also concerns inciting slogans and symbols.

• By entering the site, the visitor will agree that his person and his car can be taken on photos and that these photos can be published, saved and archived.

• The use of pyrotechnic products and camp fires are prohibited on the whole area.

• Private barbecues are allowed. However, the barbecues should have a height of at least 40 cm above the ground in order to achieve prevention of fire.

• In case of technical problems or failures (for example: loss of liquids such as gasoline, diesel, motor oil or others), the polluter is obliged to remedy!

• On the whole location, the general traffic rules are applicable. Burn-outs or unnecessary noisy use of the engine are prohibited on the whole area. For security reasons, you must drive consistently with step speed.

• Unnecessary honking should be avoided, i.e. honking concerts are strictly prohibited, because they can cause discomfort in the surrounding areas.

• Driving under influence of alcohol and / or drugs lead directly to the banning from the meeting and a referral to the police.

• The use of private aircraft on the whole area is explicitly prohibited.

• The terrain is to leave in the state you found it before the meeting. Any garbage has to be filled in the provided trashcans or in the garbage bags you will receive on the entrance.

• The distribution of promotional leaflets or advertising of any kind by the participants, as well as the commercial sales of products or goods are strictly prohibited. Of course, this does not concern the distribution of flyers for other meetings.

• The verdict of the jury for the Show & Shine contest is indisputable and will not be discussed farther with the participants.

Failure to comply with the rules is a one-off warning by the security-team or the organisation-team. For further non-compliances in the event or occurrence of offenses of serious misconduct with a serious consequence, the participant / the visitor will be banned from the meeting. Such a heavy misbehaviour will lead to a referral to the police.
The excluded participant or visitor has no right to the refund of his ticket price.

Disclaimer

• The organizer or the members of the organizing team, also as physical persons, are not liable for physical and property damage to vehicles / private property, caused by vandalism, theft, misuse or other grounds.

• The same applies for the same reasons suffered body damage.

• Participation in the event is at your own risk.

• The organizer or the members of the organizing team, also as physical persons, are not liable for health damages, even on third parties caused by vehicle competitions of any kind, especially SPL competition.
